Port Hawkesbury Paper

Port Hawkesbury Paper (PHP) is a North American leader in supercalendered paper production and is a cornerstone of the local economy. PHP is ideally positioned to work with transload businesses, as the site has active year-round rail line access and is connected to a 100-series highway system

The port facility at the site can support barges for wind and hydrogen/ammonia equipment or other projects in the area that need water access. A subsidiary of Port Hawkesbury Paper, PHP Wind, is currently constructing a major onshore wind farm in Guysborough County, which will help to power the mill.
