Cabot Gypsum

The wharf was designed, and constructed over 40 years ago, specifically for the purpose of transporting gypsum board product by sea to markets along the eastern coast and US. Designed as a bulk loading facility, the wharf is suitable for the export/import of raw materials including aggregates. The wharf is provincially owned and leased to Cabot Manufacturing.

The wharf can potentially serve barges with hydrogen and ammonia equipment, offshore wind O&M as well as the landing of onshore wind turbine components.
