Melford Atlantic Gateway Terminal is a proposed logistics park in Melford, Guysborough County. Plans include a large wharf structure, laydown area, rail access to the mainline, and an industrial park adjacent to the site. The site holds the potential to be a world-class renewable energy port, including a full range of support from marshalling and storage to construction, assembly of floating wind foundations, turbine integration, O&M and major repair work for floating wind turbines and foundations.
