NSCC Strait Area Campus
The NSCC Strait Area Campus serves as a cornerstone in the region’s educational landscape, offering a variety of programs ranging from trades and technology to health sciences and business administration. With state-of-the-art facilities and industry-relevant curriculum, the campus equips students with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in today’s competitive job market. The NSCC Strait Area Campus is also home to the NSCC Nautical Institute, which offers Transport Canada-approved marine training for students who want to start or advance their career at sea.
Université Sainte-Anne
Université Sainte-Anne, located in Petit-de-Grat in Richmond County is the only French language post-secondary institution in Nova Scotia. It is recognized for its excellent program and experiential learning opportunities for its students. Offering a wide variety of both University and college level courses, programs of story include Acadian Studies, Biology, Health Sciences, Business Administration, and more.
St. Francis Xavier University
St. Francis Xavier University is located in the Strait region in the Town of Antigonish on Nova Scotia’s mainland. Known for its academic excellence and vibrant campus community, it is. located just a short distance from the Strait of Canso, and provides comprehensive undergraduate and graduate programs, spanning disciplines such as arts, sciences, business, and engineering.
